I just looked the Z8 up two days ago, oddly enough.
I have to say I don't think the design has aged too well. The back still looks fantastic, but the front is quite blah to me.

It has a little bit just because there have been so many cars with really aggressive front ends.
I think it shows its age in the back, particularly the rear window—it's still plastic. Who in their right mind would pay $250k new for a car with a plastic rear window?

I saw four or five of these at once in the preferred parking at Lime Rock, since BMW sponsors the track. This car is second to the 507 in the best looking BMW convertible.

Nice find. I've only seen one of these twice. One for sale at the DC auto show 2 years ago and I think there were some at Bimmerfest around the same year.
Can't remember because I was more interested in the clown shoes :D

They must be more common around here, because I've seen 3: a black one in Lake Zurich, a silver one in Mount Prospect, and another silver with custom plates in Arlington Heights

There's an Alpina Z8 around somewhere. Even though they're autos, the rims look amazing on the car.
